Colin Appleton

Appleton is arguably one of the finest ever Leicester City defenders to have played for the club. He helped the club reach two FA cup finals while playing for the Foxes including as captain of the team during the 1963 FA Cup final. He helped the foxes win the league cup in 1964 and was considered to be one of the finest players in the football league during this time period.

Arthur Chandler

Chandler is arguably Leicester City’s most prolific ever striker. He is most notable for scoring a staggering 34 goals in each of the 1927 – 1928 and 1928 – 1929 league season for the foxes. In total, Chandler scored a prolific 273 goals for the club while he enjoyed a fine partnership up front with Arthur Rowley. He played for Leicester City for a twelve year period between 1923 and 1935.
