Jon Sammels

Sammels spent seven blistering years of his career playing for Leicester City FC between 1971 and 1978 and made a huge impact at the club. He helped establish Leicester as a force in the first division of English football while arriving at the club. He signed to Leicester City for a well worth £100,000 and was outstanding in his midfield role while playing for the club.

Len Glover

After starting off his successful playing career with Charlton Athletic, Glover signed to Leicester City in 1967 for £80,000 which was a record at the time for a winger in England. He helped the club reach the final of the 1969 FA Cup and formed a fine partnership up front with Frank Worthington at the club. He was a firm favorite with the Leicester City fans and spent a total of nine years playing for the club between 1967 and 1976.
