Steve Walsh

An all time cult hero at Leicester City, Steve Walsh had a football playing career spanning over 21 years most of which was spent with Leicester City. He led them to victory in the League Cup (Coca Cola) final of 1997 against Middlesbrough. Two years later he was a vital ingredient in the Leicester team which narrowly lost to Spurs in the 1999 league cup final. However, once again Leicester won the league cup tournament in 2000, disposing Tranmere Rovers 2-1 in the final. Walsh also played for Wigan, Norwich and Coventry City. Walsh is without doubt considered a cult hero at the club having played for Leicester City between 1986 and 2002.

 

Emile Heskey

Heskey spent over five years playing for Leicester city FC and established himself as one of the most powerful players in the English game. He was prolific in front of goal for Leicester and he became a regular member of the England squad thanks to his great play. He won the league cup with the club in 1997 and 2000 and moved to Liverpool in March 2000 for £11 million. He later on enjoyed a spell playing for Birmingham City and is now currently at Wigan Athletic FC.
