Stephen Hughes
Hughes began his career off playing for Glasgow Rangers at the young age of 16 years and went ton to make over 100 appearances for the major Scottish football club. In January 2005, he singed for Leicester City for £100,000 and soon became a permanent fixture at Leicester in the starting line up and has established him self as a fine midfield player.
Gareth Williams
Williams began his career off playing his football for Nottingham Forest before signing a three year deal with Leicester City in the summer of 2004 and became a permanent fixture in the starting line up since arriving at the club. His fine play while playing football has earned the player 5 caps representing the Scottish national football team.
Danny Tiatto
Tiatto started his playing career in his native country, Australia, playing there between 1994 and 1998 before e moving to Stoke City. He soon signed for Manchester City for £300,000 and helped the club gain promotion in to the premiership before moving to Leicester City in the year 2003. At Leicester, he proved to be a revelation as he was named as their player of the year in 2005 and was even named as the club captain at one point. He has now made over 100 appearances for the club.
Patrick McCarthy
In March 2005, McCarthy signed a three year deal for the club, moving from Manchester City. His no nonsense kind of football was very similar to the way how former Leicester City legendary player Steve Walsh used to play. He was installed as the new captain at the football club at the start of the 2006 – 2007 seasons and has been reliable and consistent ever since joining the outfit. |
